Those Collaborations, based in Bournemouth, has created two free spaces for people in the early years of business: Lunch Break Live and Those Collaborations Lounge.
Starting a business can be exciting. It can also mean making a lot of decisions alone, wondering whether anyone else feels the same way and trying to find the confidence to tell people what you do.
Lunch Break Live
Lunch Break Live is an online show hosted by Ricci Colla, CEO. It brings people from the business world together for relaxed conversations about what starting and growing a business is really like.
Around ten shows in, guests have shared the challenges they have faced, the things they have learnt and the parts of their journey that do not usually appear in polished success stories. Viewers can learn from those experiences for free, while people interested in being a guest can put themselves forward to share their own story.
Ricci Colla said:
Lunch Break Live was created to give people real, honest business conversations, not the shiny seven-figure overnight success story. We want early-stage business owners to hear the reality of the journey, learn from others' experiences and feel less alone as they build their businesses.
Those Collaborations Lounge
Alongside the show, Those Collaborations has opened Those Collaborations Lounge, a free Facebook community for people with a business idea, a new business or a few years of experience who are still working things out.
It is a place to ask questions, share wins and wobbles, swap useful ideas and meet people who understand the many hats that come with running a business. There are no sales posts, self-promotion or unsolicited cold messages.
Paul Colla, co-founder of Those Collaborations, said:
We wanted to create a space where people can be honest about business, the good bits, the tricky bits and everything in between. You do not need to be an expert or have a polished plan. You just need somewhere you can ask questions, meet people and feel a little less like you are doing it all on your own.

Lunch Break Live is scheduled for Fridays at 12 pm UK time and is free to watch. Previous episodes are available on the Those Collaborations YouTube channel. Those Collaborations Lounge is free to join on Facebook.
